Halloweeeeeeeeen!

My little pirates! The kids scored enough candy to rot a tooth or two this Halloween. We were invited back to our old stomping grounds (old neighborhood) for a fun block party and potluck. We were really sad to move away from this neighborhood, these are the best neighbors and always so much fun to be around!

Update on Us!!!

Ok, so this summer is flying by!! We've been so busy doing so many fun things that I haven't even had time to blog. Quickly, I will just re-cap on what's been going on with us............ So after I graduated nursing school I had to take my state boards to get my Nursing License and after a very stressfull 24 hrs of awaiting my results - I passed! Then it was on to finding a new job! The job I had before as an LPN at Banner Baywood I was not going to be able to do as an RN, so I started applying everywhere! It only took a couple weeks and I got a job at my dream Hospital at Banner Good Sammaritan in downtown Phoenix!! I started a few weeks ago, so all is going great for me! As far as the kids go, they have been enjoying some much needed and deserved time with mommy! We go swimming in our pool or the water park almost everyday I'm not working. We have had a slumber party with their cousins, we went to Vegas and met my sister, her kids and my parents there and had a great time at Circus Circus. We brought my sisters kids back with us and they spent 2 1/2 weeks with us and my parents. They really enjoyed their time with their cousins. Then we went to Eagar for the 4th of July and participated in the Archery shoot at Sunrise Ski Resort and we had a blast! So the kids are as happy as can be this summer. John has also been having a great summer! His dad sold the company he's working for but he still works there and it's going really good. He found out last week he was one of only a few people in the state to get drawn on a guided buffalo hunt, he left 2 days later and killed his first buffalo! He is turning in to quite the hunter, he killed a moose in New Founland in October and then we both got drawn for Elk this September. He is super excited!!

Here are some pictures of what has been going on with us lately!

Ridge, Dayton and Andrew getting ready to go "hunting" with their big, bad, BB-guns!

Jayden and Sayler, they are the best of friends and cousins :)

They think they are little models too, posing for the camera!

In their matching Americana dresses at the parade!

Dayton, Andrew and Jared riding the ski lift at the Archery shoot.

So so beautiful up near Eagar, I just love all the greenery surrounding Ridge.

Bye Bye Nursing School!

So I finally did it! I graduated the RN Nursing Program! It has been one of the hardest things that I have ever done and probably ever will do, but it feels so good to finally accomplish this goal of graduating college! It was an awesome night with my wonderful family and friends cheering me on! I had Sayler and Ridge put my nursing sashay and pin around my neck, they were so adorable and brave walking across the stage. The moment I saw them, I couldn't hold back the tears, just knowing all that they have been through these past 2 years. Their sweet little pleas for me to not go to work or school and stay home with them. They are still to young and innocent to understand why I had to be gone so much and that I was doing this so they could have a better life. They have literally almost been without a mommy these last couple of years, but have taken it so well and have been almost perfect children. Next is my fiance John, he has been my rock. He has been there for me on countless nights, listening to me cry, complain and completely stress out about an upcoming test or a 22 page "Careplan" I had to write! He would always give me the love and encouragement I needed to pull me through! He always helped out with the kids without complaining (we won't talk about the housework though lol), made dinner and ran errands and pretty much anything I asked him to do! Then there is my mom, she has also been amazing! My first year of nursing school I lived in Eagar and I couldn't have made it through that first year without her! She was always there for me and the kids. She is the the best mom ever! And finally to all my friends, thank you for all your love and support (and watching my kids), and for not giving up on our friendship even when I was to busy to respond to a text or a phone call. You all have been so understanding and I love you dearly!

We Eat Worms!

Ok, not really, but Andrew wanted me to take a picture of him acting like he was eating a worm! I've been meaning to post this for awile because I just think it's so cute how obsessed the kids were with the worms! That's all they cared about! It was such a beautiful day at Saguaro lake and we had a lot of fun!
